Veganism

The definition is: “a person who omits all animal products from the diet, and does not use animal by products in their lifestyle, like leather, wax, wool etc.”

Choosing to abstain from eating or using anything that come from the animal or insect world, puts you into the veganism class. In recent years the vegan trend has taken the world by storm. People choose this lifestyle for spiritual, ethical, medical and conscientious reasons.

Many people they think of veganism as dull, tasteless, lifeless, dry, boring food, and it can be that way and perhaps in the passed it was. But not today. There is an exciting food revolution going on and veganism and plant based eating are heading the charge.

Before we move on, it’s important for you to understand my point of view regarding veganism as an ethical or conscientious choice. Vegans who have become vegans because of their objections to killing animals including river and sea life, have turned to eating plants, need to understand that plants are sentient too. Plants have power of perceptions by using their senses and responding in ways that show their feelings. Plants need love too. Plants have feelings too. Plants thrive just like animals do when given tender loving care. And will wither and die if abused verbally and of course physically. In short plants are living entities, just like us. Numerous studies that have been carried out proved this point. The same life force that flows through plants is the same life force that flows through you and me, the rivers and the seas. There is no difference.

Veganism isn’t always a healthy diet. In fact, many vegans have an unbalanced diet that is full of chemically processed foods. As long as it doesn’t have animal and or animal by products it’s good. While that works for the belief system, it doesn’t always do well for the health.
